Zakir Ahmed Khan

Mr. Zakir brings in over twenty years of professional work experience with international organizations in sr. management positions in the role of designing and leading multi-sectoral, multi-million-dollar complex programs. Throughout his career, Mr. Zakir provided strategic leadership guidance and directives to diverse teams of Program Leads and Technical professionals in the process of planning, decision making and delivery of high impact programs.

He grew as a strategic leader working with  international organizations like MediVision BV, CARE, The British Council, NICARE, and Concern Worldwide by leading   multi-sectoral complex programs funded by numerous donors such as USAID, DFID/FCDO/UKAid, EU, Irish Aid, MetLife Foundation, charity:water, Swedish Postcode, MACP, KOICA and many more. Mr. Zakir is specialized in leading development projects those designed for promotion of climate smart/resilience agriculture, market value chains, health, nutrition, CCA, DRR, targeted livelihoods and graduation programs; including but not limited to projects focusing on financial inclusion. Mr. Zakir is an expert in designing scale-up of innovative financial products (interest bearing and interest free) appropriate for the extreme poor, marginalized farmers, SMEs and, managing infra-structure development projects for construction and renovation of govt. health and family planning facilities both at rural and urban settings.

Mr. Zakir has his masters in MSS, trained from home and abroad in Long Range strategic Planning, Leadership in Advancing Programs, Strategic Leadership, Organizational Development, Motivational Leadership, Good Governance and Leadership in Community Empowerment etc., organized by globally renowned training institutions and universities.
