Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among Solidaridad Network Asia (SNA), Ispahani Agro Limited (IAL) and Growing Together OPC
Partnership Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) among Solidaridad Network Asia (SNA), Ispahani Agro Limited (IAL), and Growing Together OPC was established on November 27, 2022. The purpose of this MoU is to collaborate on Climate-Smart Agriculture initiatives and to develop and fortify the Safe Food Supply chain in Bangladesh. The signing ceremony took place with Mr. Selim Reza Hasan, Country Manager-Bangladesh of SNA, Ms. Fawzia Yasmeen, Director of IAL, and Mr. M. Anowar Hossain, Executive Chairman of Growing Together OPC representing their respective organizations.

Ispahani Agro Limited (IAL) (https://ispahaniagro.com/) – a private limited company registered in the Office of the Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms in Bangladesh has been operating since 2007, providing agricultural inputs to ensure safe and quality food. IAL has already been recognized as one of the best agricultural organizations and established the credibility as a partner for sustainable agricultural management. In Bangladesh. It is pioneer in biotech products – bio-pesticides, bio-based lures, pheromone traps, seeds and agro-processing products.
This partnership was made with the following objectives:
To strengthen and establish backward and forward linkages in the agricultural value chain to ensure a safe food supply chain and fair prices for farmers.
To promote the adoption of modern technology among farmers and SMEs.
To raise awareness about the increased use of climate-resilient seeds and bio-pesticides, and to provide advice, support, and relevant information through facilitated digital platforms, call centers, or farm radios tailored to the needs of farmers.
To ensure market access for farmers through a digital marketplace.
To develop business cases for edible oil, dairy, vermiculture, and other consumer products as agreed upon by all parties.
To initiate and facilitate a national-level platform and knowledge hub, and to work towards comprehensive knowledge generation, promotion, and management, aimed at benefiting relevant stakeholders from this initiative and contributing to the national and global knowledge base.
To initiate and formalize partnerships with globally reputable agriculture knowledge-based organizations, forums, or academic institutions.
